Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Oct 11 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity remained very low throughout the period. Region 2774 (S24W36, Axx/alpha) was stable and Region 2775 (S24E02, Cro/beta) exhibited slight growth in its trailer spot area, but was otherwise quiet. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected on 11-13 Oct.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels with a maximum flux of 1,243 pfu observed at 10/1830 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach moderate levels, with high flux levels possible, on 11-13 Oct. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected nominal conditions. Total magnetic field strength ranged between 2-7 nT, the Bz component was mostly neutral and northward, and solar wind speeds averaged around 300 km/s throughout the period. Solar wind density increased to around 20 late in the period.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to continue at nominal levels over 11-13 Oct.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet under a nominal solar wind regime.

Forecast: Quiet conditions are expected to prevail over 11-13 Oct.
