Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Jul 23 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low and Region 2767 (S21E51, Hsx/alpha) was inactive and maintained a simple magnetic configuration. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low 23-25 Jul.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron and 10 MeV proton fluxes are expected to remain below event thresholds on 23-25 Jul.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of a slow regime. Total IMF strength was mostly less than 5 nT and the Bz component underwent only weak deviations. Solar wind speed was primarily 275-325 km/s and the phi angle was positive until 23/0411 UTC when it shifted to a predominantly negative sector.

Forecast: Conditions are expected to become slightly enhanced later on 23 Jul on into 24 Jul due to a CH HSS. Additional, but modest magnetic enhancement, is forecast for 25 Jul with the possible arrival of a slow CME from 19 Jul, embedded in the background solar wind.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels late on 23 Jul into 24 Jul with the arrival of a negative polarity CH HSS. Additional disturbances are likely to cause active levels on 25 Jul due a slow moving CME.
