Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Mar 24 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected to continue 24-26 Mar.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels, with a peak flux value of 1,228 pfu observed at 23/1555 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux maintained background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at moderate to high levels on 24 Mar, then return to normal to moderate levels on 25-26 Mar. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters continued to be slightly enhanced from a negative polarity, polar CH HSS. Solar wind speed ranged from 448-522 km/s. Total field ranged from 1-6 nT while the Bz component was between +/-3 nT. Phi angle was variable through 24/0000 UTC, but settled in a negative solar sector thereafter.

Forecast: Periodic enhancements in the solar wind environment are expected through 24 Mar due to continued interaction with the southern crown CH HSS. A return to ambient conditions is anticipated on 25-26 Mar.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels with a chance of isolated active periods through 24 Mar due to continued interaction with a negative polarity, southern crown CH HSS. Mostly quiet conditions are expected on 25-26 Mar.
