Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Nov 01 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low with no sunspots on the visible disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were detected in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels on 01-02 Nov.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels this period. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach moderate levels on 01-03 Nov. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the ACE spacecraft, reflected nominal conditions. Solar wind speeds averaged near 420 km/s. Total field was steady near 5 nT while the Bz component was variable at benign values. Phi was mostly negative.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to remain at nominal levels for 01-03 Nov.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was mostly quiet, with an isolated unsettled period.

Forecast: Quiet to unsettled conditions are expected on 01 Nov. Quiet conditions are anticipated over 02-03 Nov.
