Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Jul 19 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low under a spotless solar disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low with no numbered active regions present.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were consistent with a nominal solar wind regime. Solar wind speeds decreased from 420 to near 350 km/s.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to remain elevated, but benign, with average solar wind velocities at or under 500 km/s for the next 3 days. Density enhancement and magnetic variations are expected as a CIR prior to the onset of a CH HSS is expected late on day two.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet on day one (19 Jul). Active conditions are possible on day two (20 Jul) with the anticipated CIR ahead of a CH HSS expected late on the day. Quiet to unsettled levels are expected to persist through day three (21 Jul).
