Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Jul 04 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The visible disk was spotless, and no Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels for the next three days (04-06 Jul).

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels this period with a peak flux of 3,920 pfu observed at 03/1555 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels this period.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels each of the next three days (04-06 Jul), and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: The solar wind environment was at background levels. Solar wind speed averaged around 320 km/s for the period. Total field strength varied between 1 and 8 nT. The phi angle was primarily positive.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to persist at background levels for the next three days (04-06 Jul).

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: Quiet conditions are expected for the next three days (04-06 Jul).
