Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Jul 02 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The visible disk remained spotless and no reportable events were observed this period. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to persist at very low levels on 02-04 Jul.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels this period with a peak flux of 5,240 pfu observed at 01/2000 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels this period.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels on 02-04 Jul and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at nominal levels with solar wind speed between 340-395 km/s and total field steady at 2 nT. Phi angle was oriented in a negative (towards) solar sector.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to persist at background levels on 02-04 Jul.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: Generally quiet conditions are expected on 02-04 Jul.
