Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Oct 30 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low this period with no active sunspots on the visible disk. No new Earth-directed CMEs were detected in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels on 30 Oct - 01 Nov.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached very high levels this period, with a peak flux of 35,200 pfu observed at 29/1800 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels on 30 Oct - 01 Nov. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: The solar wind environment reflected enhancements due to possible arrival of a CIR ahead of a negative polarity CH HSS. Total field was elevated and reached a maximum of 13 nT while the Bz component was variable and between 10/-04 nT. Phi was mostly negative.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to remain at enhanced levels through 01 Nov due to influences from a negative polarity CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels.

Forecast: Quiet to unsettled conditions, with isolated active periods, are expected on 30 Oct as the negative polarity CH HSS moves into a geoeffective position. Unsettled conditions are expected to persist on 31 Oct - 01 Nov under continued, but waning CH HSS influence.
