Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Mar 12 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low and no Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected to continue 12-14 Mar.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at normal to moderate levels 12-14 Mar and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of a continued slow regime. However, a nominal enhancement happened just after 12/0000 UTC likely due to weak connection to the southern crown CH. During this time, density increased to an average of ~15 particles per cubic cm. Then, total field reached sustained values of 5 to 7 nT, and the Bz component underwent a brief deflection of -5 nT. Wind speeds remained unremarkable, only increasing to a max of 351 km/s. Phi was predominantly negative, but underwent a brief excursion into a positive solar sector just before the aforementioned nominal enhancement.

Forecast: A mostly slow solar wind regime is expected 12-14 Mar due to a lack of any notable influential features.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: Mostly quiet conditions are expected 12-14 Mar.
