Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Dec 25 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low with a spotless visible disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low all three days (25-27 Dec) due to a lack of spot groups or notable active regions.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at normal to moderate levels all three days (25-27 Dec), and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected a near-background solar wind regime. Total field strength averaged near 5 nT, the Bz component fluctuated between +/- 5 nT, the solar wind speed was primarily 315-360 km/s, and the phi angle was predominantly negative.

Forecast: Solar wind conditions are expected to continue at ambient, background like conditions all three days (25-27 Dec).

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: Mostly quiet conditions are expected all three days (25-27 Dec) under a nominal solar wind regime.
