Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Jul 28 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low as the solar disk remained spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low all three days (28-30 Jul).

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels with a maximum flux of 3,945 pfu observed at 27/2000 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels for the next three days (28-30 Jul). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at nominal levels with solar wind speed ranging from 360-480 km/s. Total field was at or below 6 nT while the Bz component was between +/-4 nT. Phi angle was predominantly negative.

Forecast: A nominal solar wind environment is expected to persist over the next three days (28-30 Jul).

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at mostly quiet levels for the forecast period (28-30 Jul).
