Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Feb 01 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2697 (S09E27) was inactive and decayed to plage. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low all three days (01-03 Feb).

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to increase slightly and reach normal to moderate levels on days one through three (01-03 Feb). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of the minor influence of an isolated, negative polarity CH HSS. Total field strength decreased from 9 nT to 5 nT. The Bz component was variable. Solar wind speed decreased from maximum speeds near 450 km/s down to near 380 km/s. The phi angle was predominantly negative.

Forecast: The solar wind environment is anticipated to remain nominal on all three days (01-03 Feb).

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet, with isolated periods of unsettled conditions likely on day one (01 Feb). Days two and three (02-03 Feb) are expected to be quiet.
