Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Feb 07 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity increased to low levels due to a C1/Sf flare from Region 2699 at 06/1858 UTC. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low, with a chance for C-class flares on day one (07 Feb) and slight chance by days two and three (08-09 Feb) due to the flare potential of Region 2699.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux to remain at background levels all three days (07-09 Feb).

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of weak CH HSS influences. Total field strength ranged primarily from 3 to 7 nT and the Bz component underwent weak deviations. Solar wind speed was predominantly from 400-450 km/s and the phi angle was mostly positive.

Forecast: The solar wind environment is expected to continue under the influences of the extension of the north polar, positive polarity CH HSS on days one through three (07-09 Feb).

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet on day one (07 Feb). Days two and three (08-09 Feb) are expected to be quiet to unsettled.
